AMIEN is available for services related to providing art material workshops and course training. Workshops available are 1 day, 2 day and 5 day workshops geared toward artists and art students. They can be hosted at an academic institution or community art center or wherever the client chooses. Please download the PDF to see a list of possible topics.
Of course, we will be happy to tailor a program for your organizations specific needs.
AMIEN may in the near future post open job listings for available internships. For the purposes of succession planning, we are interested in training people to run the www.AMIEN.org website and associated programs. Please do not contact AMIEN about internships unless we post an announcement.
AMIEN can provide tip sheets and articles.
Articles: You may free print any articles that appear in the Articles section of the Forums and use them for educational – but not commercial – purposes. Just remember that you must acknowledge the copyright-holder, if the article is copyrighted.
Tip Sheets: We will be happy to produce a one-page sheet of instructions for specific procedures or practices upon request, at a charge of $10.00 payable via a donation through our Donations page. We will send the tip sheet electronically (free) or mail it to you via the USPS at a charge of $1.00 to cover expenses.
The AMIEN Staff can do lightfastness, physical durability testing and materials analysis of art materials. For some of the work, we collaborate with outside contractors who donate their services to AMIEN.
